Bookplate of the Occultist and Author Alice Eugenie du Pont Ortiz (1876-1940). 6 months of The Occult Review magazine bound together. The Occult review published extensive reviews of the periodic literature and books of interest to Occultists. It offered a wide range of Occult topics which included telepathy, hauntings, spiritualism, hypnotism, alchemy, astrology, and other Hermetic subjects. It’s monthly publication ran from 1905-1951 and it’s contributors were a veritable Who’s Who of the Occult world from that period.
Contributors include: Arthur Edward White, Angus MacGregor, Florence Farr and Bernard O'neill among many others.
